Good Morning,
I spent the weekend with friends who live in Bay Park, an area in SD close to Claremont and a stones throw away from La Jolla. The view from their deck is spectacular, for two nights we stayed out on the deck, drinking wine, eating food and watching the fireworks from Seaworld. The weather was a perfect 75 degrees during the day and a nice 65 degrees at night, what else can you ask for, good food, great friends and a fabulous home where we can enjoy both.
I was among foodies who are wonderful cooks. For dinner yesterday, it was my turn in the kitchen. I decided to make a salad of pea sprouts with seared asparagus and grilled corn with a lemon vinaigrette, topped with cave-aged Gruyere cheese. The steak was cooked medium well and seasoned with a variety of rub including paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt & pepper, Cajun spice seared on a pan topped with a little sauce made of hot pepper rings, sesame oil , olive oil, a touch of Worcestershire sauce, orange rind, a little home grown fushimi pepper.
It was light and tasty, i thought.
Until next time...

I thought I died and went to heaven!! It was a fantastic meal! The beef was cooked just right, the micro green salad was awesome with the shaved cheese. You can come over anytime and do a full menu....or a weekend menu??? Can't wait for the next recipes!
